Piano and student with mild CP

Hello everyone,

I知 seeking some advice on teaching piano to a 14-year-old student with mild Cerebral Palsy. She has hypotonia, double-jointed fingers, and shaky movements, especially when reaching for objects. She can walk unassisted, but with an unsteady gate, and her primary challenge is coordination.

This is her first time playing an instrument, and she has expressed a keen interest in learning the piano. I知 committed to making the lessons engaging and productive, tailored to her unique abilities. I understand that standard methods may not be suitable, and I wonder if any of you could share your experiences or suggest exercises that might be beneficial? I知 also curious about any modifications or teaching methods that have proven successful for students with similar conditions. I知 open to exploring all possibilities to support her musical journey.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
