A "Gulbransen" built by Samick?
on: July 03, 2024, 07:52:45 AM
Thoughts on this "Gulbransen" upright console?
Serial number HIK00053, and Model CV-42 c1989. Samick-built, most likely in South Korea.
Delignit pinblock, Roslau strings, Royal George Felt.
It's resemblance to the Samick SU-105 ( photo example below) us uncanny.
Its a 42" console-studio, I assume that's where it gets the "42" in the Model#.
The odd "CV" could mean "Continental Variant"
I've looked for any resources on a "CV-42".
