Currently almost finished learning Nocturne in Eb Major op.9 no.2, was wondering if anyone had or could form a small list of 3-6 Etudes from various composers that would continue to challenge my piano skill/technique that I could focus on for the next few months, don't mind if they are long or short, I'm quite out of touch with finding gems hidden under the popular ones. Any help is appreciated.

The LH of that nocturne is like an etude - playing chords lightly, with balance and phrasing.  If you post a video of your playing of it that will help us make recommendations...

Also I wouldn't exclude Chopin's preludes - most of them are like etudes.  I also wouldn't exclude Mendelssohn's Songs Without Words.  You might also look at Schumann's Arabesque op 18.

For an etude I could recommend, because it helps with playing romantic repertoire, Czerny A.F.D op 740 no 45 "for legato playing of broken chord passages"

How about some Heller? Some of his etudes are rather unknown but I use them for sight-reading and they are quite tuneful and fun to play.

I would recommend looking at the rcm syllabus.Here is the link:

For each grade there are etudes and for you I would recommended looking at grade 8/9 since that is also around the level of the nocturne.
