Chopin - Polonaises: favorite and hardest?

Which Polonaise by Chopin is your favorite and which do you consider the hardest?

My personal favorite is op. 61, and I think the hardest is Op. 22.

Op. 44 has tons of nostalgic value for me, so it's my favorite.

Second is probably the Polonaise-Fantasie Op. 61, followed by Op. 53 "heroic".

The others I can take or leave, some of them are aight but I don't listen to them often.

Hardest is Op. 22.

Favorite is Op. 53. I love the last 3 and the Grande Polonaise, but the rest are pretty forgettable IMO. I find the posthumous polonaises pretty much a waste of time and inferior to Paderewski's, Moszkowski's, and Scriabin's (and possibly even Beethoven's) polonaises.

Hardest is definitely Op. 22.

A bit off topic, but have you heard all the Mazurkas yet? They're my favorite works from Chopin and characterize my favorite aspects of his style pretty succinctly. If you haven't yet, start with Rubinstein's Op. 56.

op 61 is a certain piece for me, that and op 49 are my favourite chopin pieces ( i think) But it all depends on intpretation for me to be honest, but op 61 just strikes a chord in my heart everytime.
