Etude-Tableau op.33 no. 4/5 in D minor
on: September 09, 2024, 09:39:28 PM
Hello everyone,
I am considering playing this piece. I absolutely love it and I'm looking for an etude/challenging piece to play alongside Chopin's op.48 no.1, as I like to study 2 pieces at once. What I love about this etude is that it is so emotionally rich while also being a fun technical challenge.
I have had some experience playing Rachmaninoff. I played the famous op. 23/5 in a concert last year and I've just finished the 23/3 prelude. I hope it's not too early for me to play this etude. We will see, and I will read through the piece and try.
I would like to hear some experiences of people who studied this piece. Are there some things I should pay special attention to? How long did it take you to learn this piece? Is there something else you'd like to say about this etude?
Thanks in advance
