I love Frescobaldi and early keyboard repertoire in general, but most of his works for the keyboard have a lot of ornaments and chords with different note values that is too hard to me as an absolute beginner. So I would like to know if there is a piece by Frescobaldi you would judge as easy enough for me. I am currently practicing Burgmüller etudes op. 100, if you want to have an idea of how low is my current level.

There are gazillions of people who want to learn piano in order to play some big Chopin piece. It's beyond wonderful that you are inspired by Frescobaldi. You can, maybe, find some specifically easy pieces of his in random anthologies of music for beginner pianists. I'm attaching a link to 5 volumes of his keyboard works at IMSLP, but it will require a lot of patience for you to skim through them to find things that are easy. Don't be too intimidated by the ornaments - they are just ornamental and you can certainly just leave them out until you reach a level at which you can play them. Good luck.

Thank you for the reply, I will check it out!

Yes, I recently fell in love with this overlooked era of classical music which is the renaissance. I am in love with the works of Byrd, Palestrina, Dowland, Frescobaldi, the OG Monteverdi, Josquin Des Prez and others I cannot remember now. Another overlooked side of classical music I am in love with is Chinese classical music like Xian Xinghai, Huang-Hu Wei, Ma Sicong, Cheng Gang, Tan Dun, Zhao Jiping and other dozens of amazing composers. Still trying to find an easy piece by one them as well.

May I add my thanks for opening and ears and eyes to the wonderful aria by Frescobaldi. I've already ordered the book from Alfred Music.
