Reference sheets for kids
on: November 19, 2024, 08:02:02 AM
I created a set of six piano basics cheat sheets for some of my younger students recently. The topics covered are; Note names, The Piano keyboard, Note values, Time signatures, Counting rhythms, and Warm-up exercises.
They aren't suitable for self learning though. The kids will definitely need a teacher to explain the content. Anyway, in case anyone is interested I've made them available on my website.

What if you called them "reference sheets", or "study material"?  With "cheat sheet" I expected something not so great, shortcuts that interfere with learning.  But these all look solid and well done.  When I was learning these things I had to create my own reference summaries and hoped they were actually correct. (decades ago ;) )
