Touch the sky - Original composition
on: February 09, 2025, 04:02:40 PM
Hi to all,

I want to show you my last composition for piano solo. It's a piece called 'touch the sky' (tocar el cielo in Spanish). It's a melancholic piece. I hope you enjoy my work, I wait for your comments. If you want to share it feel free.

I don't have the music theory knowledge to analyze the piece technically, but if I were to describe what it makes me feel, I would say this: The beginning conveys a sense of being lost, the helplessness of not knowing what to do—like someone lacking motivation and too drained to put energy into anything. Then, slowly, step by step, they start experimenting and searching for the right path. Once they find it, they begin to move toward their goal with determined strides. Along the way, they sometimes lose progress, facing obstacles, but with each new challenge, they become even more eager to push forward. In the end, they finally reach their goal, calmness washes over them, and they are filled with peace—everything is now in place. I really loved the music, and I’m thinking of adding it to my playlist. Great job, and thank you.

Thank you so much for your comment. I love to have cause this feelings and thinkings on you. Your explanation is more or less the status of my creativity in the moment of composing the piece. I have lost my creativity caused by a block, then i started to work thought my goal and recovers the creativity gradually. But as you said, in any path are different obstacles and you need to continue working to reach your goal, to "Touch the sky".

Thank you so much again for you comment. If you can add to your playlist is a pleasure for me. In the next weeks this song will be on all the streaming platforms. I will put the links here when the music will be approved
