Hello fellow pianists,

I’m currently back from a hiatus and am reworking my repertoire list.  I’m curious if you might share your favorite recital programs, whether your own or someone you heard live or recorded.

I’ll share my current list if there is any interest in this post - thank you 🙏🍀💚

Cortot used to do recitals with the 24 Chopin Etudes Op. 10 and Op. 25 together with the 24 Preludes Op. 28. That's a bucket list programme for me, though I doubt I'll ever reach the skill to pull it off in concert. But one can dream ;)

I've been to a concert with the following programme which I think is really cool:
Bach/Liszt: Prelude & Fugue in a minor BWV 543
Beethoven: 11 Bagatelles Op. 119
Chopin: Polonaise in f sharp minor Op. 44
Rachmaninoff: Sonata in D minor Op. 28
Albéniz: Selections from Iberia

I, personally, would not go - - too old-fashioned, nothing new, everything composed before 1860, not very interesting.  I want to hear less familiar music, more new music.
