Preoccupied with improvising, I had forgotten what a delight Waller's piano solos are to play. I recorded this yesterday and it's given me a kick to relearn some more of them.

Nice playing Ted it has this laid back quality to it which is delightful.

Thanks for listening, pleased you like it. John Farrell had an extraordinary ear for transcription of this type of music, the most accurate of any I think. Better to follow my own instinct in a few places rather than aim for scrupulous imitation though.
