Is Prok 3 a good first concerto
on: February 12, 2025, 05:24:12 PM
Hi all,

My teacher wants me to play prokfiev's third concerto. For reference, I am in a preparatory program at a university and I practice anywhere from 1-3 hours a day. Do you think it is feasible?

Go for it.  The only person who knows if they can pull it off is you.  Maybe it’s not normal but there’s people who learned rach 3 as their first concerto.  So who cares what’s normal or not

Did you start working on it?
