It's part of a book "Pieces for Children".
Is $27 + $4 shipping on Amazon. Not sure how many pages it is.
Not sure I'm ready to spend $31 to get hold of 4 pages of music.

Some are quick to jump on the copyright bandwagon, as if those regs are so rational and indisputable.
Takemitsu died in 1996.
Maybe estate heirs absolutely must continue to benefit from their ancestor's labor
Think how rich Van Gogh's descendants would have become, if he had had any.

thanks for the reply - you motivated me to hunt around - I found a pdf!

I saw Romance for 6 or 7 bucks, less than a burger.
And BTW, Piano Pieces for Children and Romance is $11 on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/TAKEMITSU-CHILDREN-ROMANCE-English-Japanese/dp/4890664238

Takemitsu died in 1996.
At least in the US, copyright law is usually "70 years after the death of the author."
1996+70=2066, so that's when it'll become public domain.
You could always try to pirate it, of course, though I highly recommend that you don't lol.

Also, looking at the video, couldn't you just take screenshots of each section? It looks like the entirety of the piece is shown, unless I missed something while skimming through the video...

How to explain our different results in Amazon search?
Do they have me targeted as a big spender?
I'm in USA, not sure about you.
