After being run over in January, and facing an incredible challenge of broken bones, nerve damage and infection, I can't say how thankful I am to finally be able to play acoustic piano again. I want to give a special thank you to the piano forum's Ted, who has been such an inspiration for me to keep going and has a musical mind far beyond his years.

Although I wouldn't recommend this to all, near death experiences certainly do have a way of allowing one to not really give a S*(% anymore, especially in regards to music. Play what's on your heart. Every flower, every cloud and every beautiful woman that flashes you a smile as they walk down the street, your wife or husband, birds outside, war and death, sickness and the miracle of life... just play it as you hear it. Cheers

Glad you're emerging from it all, pleased to have been of assistance. The piano sounds good and I like the bit at 0:36 to 0:54, which bursts through like an unseasonal flower in midwinter, a reassertion of the life force.

I second Ted's opinion, I also thought 0:36 to 0:54 sounded really beautiful in an odd way in that context.
