Help with programming Schumann
on: July 22, 2025, 11:25:47 PM
Hi! I’ve been learning Schumann’s Warum op 12 and want to pair it with another piece. What are some pieces I could use since Warum is so short and the piece Schumann paired it with inside its opus, Aufschwung, is to difficult so what pieces could I use preferably in romantic era, shorter, and in that same kind of impulsive contrasting mood to Warum also preferably in F minor for a nice key relationship. Thanks!

How short is short? The Chopin Nocturne Op. 55 No. 1 came to mind but maybe it's not contrasting enough and a bit too long?
