I know about Peters editions on IMSLP, but wanted to buy some printed scores as well.
Can somebody compare the new Peters 4-volume edition of piano works vs Henle?
I know that Henle collection is far from complete, but Peters is incomplete as well, it has some arrangements missing compared to the 4-volume complete edition from 1970-1980s for some reason.
I do not ask about paper, fonts, etc. - I own modern editions from both publishers, and know these details well.
I am interested to hear only about musical text and differences in editorial content. I know that both Henle and Peters made some changes compared to first prints and 1902, but are there any real differences between them for, say, Lyric Pieces?
For example, are fingerings by Adolf Ruthardt still present in the new Peters edition?
