Is Mazeppa or Chasse-Neige harder?

Is Mazeppa (no.4) or Chasse-Neige (no.12) harder (from Liszt's S.139 transcendental etudes)?

S. 139 no. 12 "Chasse-Neige" < S. 139 no. 4 "Mazeppa" < S. 137 no. 4 "Mazeppa" < S. 137 no. 12 "Chasse-Neige" < S. 138 "Mazeppa."

Both versions of Chasse-Neige are the best among these five pieces, followed by S. 138. I don't like either of the other two versions of Mazeppa.

My take away from this post is that liszt-and-the-galops and bach-busoni-chaconne are made for each other.

I think they were joking lol. I have also wondered once or twice if you are the same person because your usernames are similar. But I'll take your word for it!

Notice how similar the names are, yet so uncommon: 
<composer>+<piece>
Liszt - Galop
Bach/Busoni - Chaconne

Their focus is uncannily similar - hardest pieces.
