I've read a few articles on Jennifer Lopez and her vanity.  When she went to an awards show in Chicago (I think?) she booked out the entire top floor of a luxury hotel.  She ordered 100 of her favourite grapefruit scented candles to be put inside her suite, and no maid or butler may enter without her leave.  At lunch she went to dine at a fancy restuarant which was just around the block, but she ordered 6 limos and Mercedes to accompany her.  After lunch she hopped back in for a 2-minute drive back to her hotel.  At the awards show, she booked out all the bathrooms and toilets on the ground floor for her own personal use.  Even her mother was not allowed near her and had to explain to her bodyguards she was Jen's mother!

Another random fact about JLo I've come across -

Her latest marriage was to Cris Judd.  After only being married to him for a short time, she gave him US $2 million to just walk away.  Apparently she was angry at him because he thought Shakira looked like her, and Shakira was a rival at the time.

Oh come on! How did someone find all this out if "even her own mother was not allowed near her" Celebrities get so much rubbish written about them, most of it is made up - the media want to sell their magazines/papers etc so they make up stories about how they think actors like JLo should be like - hence it gets the public interested and makes them keep buying the magazines.
