Ok... Here is a little technique I use that seems to polish a piece to "Note Perfect" It may not work with everyone, but It has for me with Bach especially
After you somewhat perfect a piece, and want it to sound crisp and clean... Put on gloves! The gloves that you wear when you get cold, like mittens or something... Nothing to heavy, something that will make playing the piano a little challenging. Play through the piece a few times. It may seem impossible! You may be hitting all the wrong notes! Actually you probably will hit all the wrong notes! Just do the best you can, practice it slowly with the gloves on... play it over and over again with the gloves on.
When you take the gloves off... your hands will feel so light, and nimble. You play the notes with better accuracy, it really works!
This may not be the BEST technique- who knows it may be a complete waste of time, but I have a feeling I'm on to something! It may all be psychological as well, and it all may be in my imagination
