anyone driving from pennsylvania (i'd pay for 1/2 gas)?
do you know why benches fall apart?  it is because they have lids with little tiny hinges so you can store music inside them.  hint:  buy a bench that does not hinge.  buy it for sturdiness.

Koji, which Bortkiewicz are you playing?  I love the Ballade and the Elegie.

I'm seriously thinking about doing the ballade, I looked at it the other day, and was quite taken with it.  Since it's a Yamaha event, it most likely will be taped, either audio or video (or perhaps both).

Where do I order the tickets? I may consider going, seeing as I live very very close to NYC and am going to see a concert there this Sunday, too.

You could probably get them Sunday, in the course of attending that concert.  It's a nice space, I think and they can control the acoustics in there as well.

Nice to see some Bortkiewicz being played.  Our library doesn't have anything by him at all and most of the music that has survived is pretty expensive.
