another fast recipie

ok.  if you like to cook really fast, try this one:

teriyaki chicken with pineapple

three or four boneless breast of chicken
1/2 c. semi-concentrated orange juice (what's left in the container)
1 - 1 /2 c. water
lots of soy sauce
1 can fresh chunk pineapple

wash and dry chicken.  place in oiled pan.  pour orange juice over it.  douse it with soy sauce.  cook for 15 min. (turning or basting occasionally) take out and put 1 can pineapple (with juice) cook for 25 -30 more minutes (basting).

take chicken out (can cut it up, to make extra moist) and spoon sauce over the chicken and then top with remaining diced pineapple.
do you know why benches fall apart?  it is because they have lids with little tiny hinges so you can store music inside them.  hint:  buy a bench that does not hinge.  buy it for sturdiness.

ps add about 2 cups of water to orange juice at the beginning for moisture content.

huh?

I'm dying to try this recipe!  I have a quick recipe that involves chicken and (get this!)apricot flavored baby food!  I haven't tried it yet.  As soon as I can find it, I will post it.  I absolutely love simple, quick recipes.  However, I do like to whip up something exotic once in awhile, but I'm sure that most of us have a hectic life, and sometimes we need those simple yet great recipes.

How much soy sauce is " a lot "?  Would that not make it very salty?

What type of rice should be served with the chicken?  Uncle Bens variety?

I can add peanuts if I want to but first have them placed into canola oil to cook them and make them oily and tasty.

my soy sauce has such a little spout that i generously douse the chicken with little dots (which add up to maybe 2 Tablespoons).  sorry.  i'm a true fast cook.  basically 'to taste' is what i mean.  especially if you have to watch the salt intake.  i never thought about peanuts, but that sounds very good!
