Rainbow help
on: March 16, 2005, 02:38:03 AM
Okay, I'm learning somewhere over the rainbow. What nice, helpful soul will take the time to type the lyrics for me, because if I knew them I think it would really help me feel this song more. I'm entering it in a festival where three others are playing the same arrangement, and I want mine to really catch the adjudicators ear. Please help. ....Somewhere, over the rainbow, way up high, somewhere over the rainbow.....? Something to do with bluebirds flying and lemondrops?

"Somewhere Over the Rainbow"
lyrics by E.Y. Harburg
Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high,
There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby.
Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue,
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true.
Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far
Behind me.
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me.
Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly.
Birds fly over the rainbow.
Why then, oh why can't I?
If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can't I?
