Chang/Sandor?
on: March 19, 2005, 06:10:22 AM
I've seen a whole lot on the Chang book around the forum lately... I started reading both the Chang and the Sandor book the other day. I was wondering, from those of you who have read both, which one is more helpful, or, in which ways was each helpful?

Another question- Chang's explanation of "the chord attack" 1.2.9 seems really, really vague to me. Could anyone explain it a little more precisely? "bounce the hand up and down at the frequency..."?

Chang doesn't deal with as much of the nitty-gritty technique as Sandor.  So it depends on what you're looking for.

My personal ranking in order of usefulness to me:
1.  Sandor
2.  Lister-Sink (freeing the caged bird)
3.  Abbey Whiteside
4.  Chang
5.  Fink
