Moderne repertoire
on: March 20, 2005, 03:57:39 AM
I would need a moderne piece to do to prepare for conservatory entrance / getting grade certificates from music schools by the end of the year. So I would like to be able to bring it to performance level in 2-3 months, and it should be a hard work, but a little less hard than Prok. toccata or Ravel's Gaspard de la nuit. Any suggestions?

Do you have an internet link to one of those? And, I heard Bowen toccata was way harder than prokofiev's one. That's only what i've heard tough, never heard or looked at it.

and i personally blew through the prokofiev toccata and had trouble with the bowen, but most people seem to think the bowen is easier.  not me tho....
