What would be some good pieces...
on: March 30, 2005, 08:14:29 PM
I want to make a CD of instrumental American pieces. I know I want to include the following two pieces, but don't really know what else is out there. Thanks for the input.

An American Elegy
The Eternal Light

I'm trying to stay away from the more corny of pieces, going more for inspiring and/or inspirational.

glass violin concerto and nymen (nyman) piano concerto are probably my favorite two pieces ever composed, and usually i only like solo piano.  i can give you recordings if you want to get me on MSN.

Upon reading my own post I realized that I put "inspiring and/or inspirational"... what I meant to say was "sentimental and/or inspirational" Those suggestions sound great, but do they fit with the patriotic theme? I don't have MSN but any suggestions as to where I can download any of these songs would be much appreciated.
