Schumann Fantasy (from four years ago...)

Hello,
Recorded this about 4 years ago. Scuffed home recording and the audio of the third movement isn't in sync. It is what it is. Thinking about revisiting the piece and I never got real feedback on this so was just curious what people thought!

Very solid technically and you got a good musical head on your shoulders too.

I think the main issue I have is that the playing feels a bit too "planned" and cerebral, character wise. You are doing the right basic things, but as I understand it this piece is a great outpouring of love from Schumann to Clara. You need a great deal more of that unbridled sincerity, love, passion, unfiltered earnestness, longing, sadness, all of it. Without it feeling like you are forcing it or pretending to feel it, you need to be it. Now how you are going to do that, that would need to be a couple of lessons or more working on finding that. But listen to your playing, feel it, think about it, and see what you come up with.
