I would like to know if a 25 years old Yamaha U1 considered an old piano.  How much longer will it last?  Should I purchase it?

A 25-year-old U1 might be "old" and it might not.

It depends on how well it has been cared for. If you like the piano--it plays well and sounds good, and you can't decide yourself if it is worth buying, you can have a competent technician look at it for you and tell you how young or old it is.

It is always worth paying for the services of a piano tech to inspect it for you.
