Are you a Kissin fan?  I'm afraid I can't help you other than advise you to find another pianist!!!!  he's dreadful!  Go for Horowitz's or Stephen Hough's Liszt B minor.  I can only judge Kissin on what I've already heard and admittedly I havent heard his Liszt...but what I have heard is terrible!

I don't, sorry...i'll have to look into more recent Kissin recordings.  Maybe he is maturing.  I have an incredible LP of Rubenstein performing the Liszt and the Wanderer fantasie.  Sublime playing!  I also had the good fortune to see Pollini play it live at the Festival Hall, London.  That was the most unbelievable experience!  I don't know if he recorded it...well worth a look.

Kissin is so lyrical and deep. I very much like his playing. Listen to his Rachmaninoff Etudes-Tableaux + Concerti. Spectacular recording.

My conducting tutor heard + saw Kissin perform (and record) the two Chopin concerti (back to back) at his debut in moscow at age 11... impressive!

And of course he's matured since then... he's married and pushing mid-twenties or something? heh...

I have always wanted to see or hear those recordings, but haven't found them yet.

If you were truly a fan of Kissin, you would be at store the legitimately buying his recordings.  If all of his fans tried to grab his recordings off the internet for free, do you think he would still be producing them?

I could not agree more.  Please, if you want popular music, go ahead, take as much of it for free as you can!  But the piano performers need the money from these recordings to make a living.  We've got to respect them or else recordings will just get scarcer and scarcer...
