General Music Digital Piano - US availability?
on: April 12, 2005, 09:48:28 PM
Good morning/afternoon/evening!

Are General Music Digital pianos available in the US?

Background if interested:  This is a bit of a continuation of my post "Keeping a *tuned* piano at my cabin."  Most of you suggested I try a digital piano.  I went out and tried some Yamahas and Rolands.  They weren't awful, but I couldn't help but think harpsichord playing on at least the lower notes.  There may be some adjustment to correct for that but none that the salesperson or I could find.

JR11 suggested a piano by General Music.  I did a web search and found sites, but there didn't seem to be any in the US.  It seemed to be well liked in the European reviews I read, and I would like to find out if it is carried here.  Anyone know?

Rodney, you are a terrific help.  Thank you!  (I don't know how all my searches missed that one!)

And, ewwww, you're right, it is uggggggly.  But all will be forgiven if I can store it out of the way and if it sounds beautiful!  Glad to hear you like it too.
