Have it at the venue you just did your concert at. Invite EVERYONE eheh, if its not that big. At least 100 shouldn't be too bad. Have heaps of food, drinks, pay for it you get more out of it than what you pay for. Then you can mingle with your audience, talk to them, make good connections, so the next time you return heaps of people will want to return because of the party at the end! :)  Thats what I got said to me in a joking way quite a few times, but it does really make the event special if you have a little to eat and drink or even just to talk to the peformers at the end. Better than just walking out of the place, this way everyone leaves feeling a little more important. It is how the audience should be treated I reckon since without them we have no concert!
Then you can have a big piss up at home with your friends :) ahah

PARTY!!!!! No NO NO youve got completely the wrong idea...!!! After a concert you meet with your agent and have postmortem (unless it was really bad) then you go and practice until its light again in the dark very slowly and with firm fingers making sure its PERFECT and dont let yourself out of the room - not even to speak to your girlfriend! until you are sure you'll never play a wrong note in that programme EVERY again!!! :o >:(   I am of course being TOTALLY serious ::) ;)

that's a good idea
i heard that Tausig (spelling) when after his concert he will play his program through very carefully soft clear to clean all hazard from the concert (from H.Neuhaus)
or Richter will find some place after concert and learn new repertoire for his next recital.
