I wanted to ask something about this piece.

You know it's for orchestra? Well i heard a version for violin and piano on the radio that i'd never heard before (the piano playing a kind of orchestral reduction i think).

Has anyone else heard it? The piano part sounded amazing and quite difficult. Does anyone know of a good recording of it? And also - did Saint-Saens write this version for piano and violin or did someone else arrange it? I would love to play it someday.

Liszt wrote a piano transcription of it. It sounds pretty cool.
