I am not sure which the Richardson version is.  But there are these two versions for solo piano:

I have always played the first one because I feel it is more accessible.  I am not sure what the original key signature is suppose to be though.  The first one is in e minor, the 2nd is in c# minor.

You guys are all barking up the wrong tree!!

 For the finest transcription of the vocalise check out that of Earl Wild published by 'Michael Rolland-Davis' or go to the Earl Wild website.

 There's no repeats ie. they are written out so the music is continually growing in texture and agitation. True geniuus!! ;D
