As for the thread never dying...well, no, I wouldn't hold out much hope for a funeral. One of the most enormous threads I've ever seen was the photo thread at the old PW coffee room. I think at its peak it was near 200 pages, if not more. The longest thread I've ever witnessed, however, was an NFL thread at one of the electronic musician forums a few years ago. 350+ pages, I believe!

you look very serious at the piano, thracozaag!  sort of like rachmaninov.  very intense concentration.  but, who takes your pics anyway?  your hands are just kind of static (it's not like they're flying all over).  must have been a slow movement.  it made me think that you were slightly insane, but you're probably the sanest one on here.  can you post another one where you are playing, for instance, totentanz? (picking this because of your posts on steinway guy vs steinway tony)

it's no wonder people like you and me put our pics in the attachment area.  we sunburn too easily, take good pics rarely, and look better in person.  btw - no offence.

yahhh for bicycling!  it's good for you and makes you even tempered.  did you say 60 miles!  wow.  i can do 30 easily - but 40 i'm just sort of wondering about my heart (esp. in the heat).  now i see why people bring two water bottles and some money in your shoe.  i always put my cell phone and drivers license in my pocket, too, just in case i get hit by a car or fall over.

I didn't mean to put my picture in attachment, i just couldn't work out how to show it.

I couldn't cycle 60 miles until i spent £3500 on a carbon trek.

I have yet to receive any requests for dates in my personal mailbox.
