Advice requested

Here's the deal... I'm trying to improve my piano chops to help with my writing and would like some advice with chords.  Thus far, I've played inversions of the same chord(All 12 min7 and dom7 chords) up and down for about two octaves.  I've also got a jazz fakebook that I've been reading off of.  Any advice from the vets?

;D Repetition, baby, repetition! Till they'recoming out of your ears.....till you can play them w/o stumbling once while your heart is pounding 160 BPM from the pure adrenalin rush of describing the prettiest, sexiest girl you know!  ;)

So I'm assuming the more chord changes I play the better I'll get then eh? Anybody got any practice routines they wouldn't mind sharing?
