play a mozart sonata, but only do it if you can play mozart very well and clear.

what do  expect?

unless you are a very advanced pianist, i doubt you can perfect a really signifigant piece within just 2 weeks.

only something really easy and slow would do, i suggest maybe some schumann scenes of childhood or some pieces fromt he album for the young

nah that wouldn't cut it.

well i suppose i could do a movement of mozart... i've played 576 before.. revising it is an option.

(restrains from turning this thread into a battle of egos... :D)

the whole set on its own is too long,
a piece itself is too short.

They will only ask one movement of a sonata, I think.

Mozart : Rondo in F (the same as the last mvt from K 533 sonata)
Beethoven: Rondo in C
Schumann: Arabesque in C
Waste of time -- do not read signatures.

Hmm..speaking of Rondos, there's a good one by Hummel, op. 11 in Eb "Rondo Favori" that is not terribly easy but also not extremely difficult as long as you can play smooth scales and elegant trills. It's 6 pages, about 4 to 4 and a half minutes long, and I think the judges would eat up the upbeat Classical flavor of the piece, provided you pull it off correctly. I can send you the sheet music and an Mp3 of Cziffra playing if you're interested.

There is also Beethoven's Rage over a Lost Penny which is 10 pages and significantly more difficult...and now that I think about it his Polonaise in C major probably wouldn't be too bad either.
