I am just wondering why more people are not posting recordings of yourself playing the piano.  It would be an interesting thing to know.

i'm workin on it  ;D
i'll try to record myself with pc microphone (again thanks donjuan), as soon as possibile. i really want to post my recording.  this recording probably won't be the best quality, but for the first time would be ok

p.s.   another reason why i didn't posted it...you don't want to listen my wrong notes and struggling with my etude... :P

Hello,

I'm new here, but I do have some soundbytes of my playing at my website.  I am working on a new recording project and can post some stuff when it's finished!

Primarily, it's because I don't have any finished pieces to play... ::)

Buuuut I, too, am working on that. Hopefully before the end of the summer...

I would like to post some 20th century stuff, but it may be against forum rules.

Would it be ok to put it on my website then post a link to it?

I am just curious...
I would only post a recording if I needed some comments or advice. Isn't that what the audition room is for?
Don't get me wrong, I love hearing what you all are doing. Its very inspiring!

i don't have any recording equipment and i am too poor at the moment to afford any.  However i make a call out to Barnhard to post a recording, i would really love to hear him play and he's got to be richer than me with all his students.  I'd also really like to hear xvimbi and many others that don't immediately spring to mind.
I'll be Bach

You probably don't mean to be thoughtless, but I feel it's unfair to single out forum members in this way. People who take time to write about their teaching/learning strategies shouldn't then be put on the spot to somehow prove themselves by performing, or feel pressurised to defend themselves if they don't want to.

Yes, this is a good point!  It is similar maybe, to asking somebody who performs quite well "now, if you are a real musician, explain to me how you did that?  Explain yourself, NOW" she says (he he) "And while you're at it, please explain to me how I also can achieve this!"  he he (hmmm, I feel an influx of questions arising within...)

(Sorry Gargamel, don't mean to hijack your thread  :-* )
