The V International Alemdar Karamanov piano competition

The application  deadline- 1 September.

The competition is held in four age divisions: 

Group "A" - ages 10 and under 

Group "B" - ages 11-14 

Group "C" - ages 15-18

Group “D” – ages 19- 25


For contest participants are offered two nomination - "Classic" and "Resonant Internet".

Each can take part in any nomination or in both at once.

i couldn't open the website, don't know why... can you tell me more about repertoire for category C 15-18 years please

Repertoire GROUP "C " 

(ages 15-18) 

 

I ROUND 

 

1. J.-S. Bach - Prelude and fugue from WTC 

2. Classic sonate (1-st or 2-nd and 3-d parts) 

3. Two virtuoso works (two masterly etudes) - Chopin, List, Rachmaninov, Skryabin, Stravinsky, Debussy 

4. Work of Alemdar Karamanov 
Rondo
Ballad
Variation
The Prologue, thought, epilogue (1963.)  (Prolog, misl’, epilog))
 

SEMI - FINAL   

 

(Duration of the program - no more than 40  minutes) 

 

1. One significant or some works of the small form - Schubert, Schuman, List, Chopin, Brahms, Mendelhson... 

2. Work of a composer of XX century 

3. Work of a composer from contestants country 

 

FINAL

i downloaded ballade, seems to be nice piece.  :)

i'm interested in this competition very much, and i'd like to go. 

i'm gonna ask my teacher on saturday what she thinks about it
