Composers and Arrangers
on: May 26, 2005, 08:36:01 PM
Hey, guys. Are there any composers or arrangers out there? I posted this for those of us who are to talk about what we're working on, ask questions, or give advice. I am a composer and arranger myself, and I am working on a variety of things right now. My latest accomplishment was an arrangement of "O Fortuna" from Orff's "Carmina Burana." I am also working on an original symphony and piano concerto. So what are you guys working on?

I am working on a piano concerto and I have a fugue that needs some reconstruction,
I need to write some short orchestra stuff to practice orchestration.

The symphony I am working on is the first thing I've ever written for an orchestra. I'm looking for an orchestration book right now, because I'm not exactly sure about the range of every instrument. I'll post my symphony when i'm done with it, but that will be awhile.
