Concert Announcement: Madrid, June 1st
on: May 26, 2005, 09:23:33 PM
Hi,
I post here whenever I play a concert or recital, next week I have two concerts, so feel free to come.
June 1st is the Class concert in my School (Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia). Every three months we are required to play in the class concert and all of my teachers students will play. Her name is Galina Eguiazarova, and among her students were Radu Lupu and Arcadi Volodos.
The concert is at 6 pm at Fundacion Caja Madrid. (In madrid, june 1st)
The program is fairly long since its 5 people playing 20+ minutes each:
ME: Bach Partita in G major, Liszt Ballade n. 2
Everyone else: Chopin Andante Spianato and Polonaise Brillante, a nocturne (Im not sure which)--A Haydn sonata in e minor, another Chopin nocturne and a Chopin etude--Prokofiev Sonata n. 3, Debussy Etude, Rachmaninoff etude, Bach WTC P and F in Bb major second book--Schubert Wanderer Fantasy and Mozart Fantasy in C minor.
I look forward to seeing some of you there

For a good laugh, check out my posts in the audition room, and tell me exactly how terrible they are
