Vince Carter is a pregnant dog
on: May 28, 2005, 07:31:55 AM
Seriously all you Americans have no idea how much of a pregnant dog he is.  Incidentally I am typing pregnant dog and not B****.  He went on record saying he didn't try this season n Toronto; and belkieve me you New Jersey fans, he is not the dunker he was...you are in for ashock.

I still think he's the best dunker of all time though

What are youre thoughts on VC?

I used to love VC many years ago.  Then he started sucking.  Its good that they got rid of him.

Isn't the season for the Nets over? And wasn't this trade several months ago? And hasn't been Vince Carter been pretty much the guy who carried the Nets to the postseason this year? If I were a New Jersey fan (I hate the Nets), I'd be thanking God that we could got Vince Carter for a role player and a bench warmer, especially since diminished perimeter contact rules have been more strictly enforced this year (and forseeably coming years) and run-and-gun philosophy basketball is being promoted.

Btw, I'll never forget the dunk where he launched his crotch forward at some 7'6'' european dude and literally dunked on him from several feet away. God this guy was a monster.

Hearting basketball,
A Knicks fan :'(

i agrre with u about vince carrying the nets to the post season...but maybe i didn't fully explain that i have watched him carry the raptors to the post season twice and I know how good he can be, and i'll admit it is refreshing to see him play with this spark on new jersey, and (this isbecoming a runon sentence) i wish him all the best......but he's a huge pussy who cries on the floor for hours, and, after all his years of driving the lane, is terrified to drive the lane....and i hate him.  HE COULD HAVE BEEN THE BEST PLAYER SINCE JORDAN!!!!

but i love him too he's incredible when he wants to be.

but im glad he's gone, Bosh is the future for TO

he could never beat Jordan. He sucked too much at defense.

true true, but his athleticism was on a different level, I'm sure he could have been a great defender If he wanted to...again the problem with vince, he doesn't want to win.

He seems to have his head on straight, says the right things, gets along with his teamates, etc.
Lebron should be fun to watch in the next couple years, too.

ya wade is dirrrrrrrrrrrrrrty, (too bad they lost last night), but King James is the King for a reason. I mean dwayne wade is awesome he will be definetly one of the best, if not the best (next to Lebron), in a couple of years.  Shaq already said that he(dwayne), is "The best player in the world".  He's DAMN good. And he has been playing these playoffs in a jordanesque fashion....i believe the statistic doug collins gave was "The only player (other than Jordan and West), to come back and score 40 points from a game 1 loss againt Detroit in the conference finals".  Pretty precise statstic but all teh same in high company.

lebron though.....i don't even want to imagine how good he'll be when he is fully developed. He's already my fav player in the leauge.

But being in Toronto most of the time, I'm a huge Bosh fan of from that draft.

That draft was great. Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, T.J. Ford, Kirk Hinrich, Luke Ridnour, Josh Howard, Kyle Korver, etc. I hope Darko and Sweetney from that draft get developed well.

I definitely see Wade being the legitimate successor to Jordan. Not just his gamebreaking ability and his good enough court vision to make teams pay for doubling up on him but he also has that aggressiveness of taking it to the other guy and the plain confidence that he's going to score that Jordan had. He doesn't have much team presence now but that's understandable with Shaq on the team and Wade being in his early twenties.

But Lebron (and I guess Darko, he kinda looks like a member of a late 90's boy band now so he's mad ridiculous in terms of bodily appearance) is going to be my favorite player from that draft to watch in the coming years. He's good at everything that there are stats for. There's no weakness in his game. God.

Yeah, the last draft is looking eeriely similar to the '84 draft, and is clearly the best one since the '96 draft for sure.
And as my friend said re: Lebron, "He's gonna be Magic Johnson...but with more athleticism." :o
