It's on a NAXOS label with Rach's complete concertos and Paganini rhapsody... available pretty much anywhere including Amazon. A fantastic performance, I have it myself.

Hmmm, I couldn't find it on Amazon.

I searched Orozco.. and Rafael Orozco

Well, damn...... I take it that it's expensive?

Yeah, I have his, it's remarkable.  Oh my god...listening to it now that you mentioned it........he has incredible technique...WOW that 3rd movement, fastest I've heard...I almost forgot how easily he plays that.

However, for me personally, Volodos didn't capture the sheer emotion of the 3rd movement like Van Cliburn or Horowitz.

It is still an outstanding recording.

So far, I have the Van Cliburn, Rachmaninoff, Horowitz, Ashkenazy, Volodos, and soon the Orozco.

I'd say it's a pretty good lineup  ;D

Orozco's Rach 3 is amazing!  :o My favourite! You can also buy it under the phillips "duo" label for pretty cheap, considering you get all the piano/orchestra pieces.  I think it's cheaper than naxos  :o.

Naxos is the better deal - you get all five concertos.
