do you know why benches fall apart? it is because they have lids with little tiny hinges so you can store music inside them. hint: buy a bench that does not hinge. buy it for sturdiness.

Well, Oscar Wilde was gay. But I agree with him. Marriage crushes a person rather.
When I grow up, I'll be like George Sand; taking a long line of famous lovers...

learning to love and being in love are two different things. i used to think exaggeration was not the thing to do in interpretation of music, but it is highly effective in music and love. the more wildly exaggerated you behave, the more likely you'll stroke your husband's/wife's ego. take for instance my husband has always celebrated our anniversary monthly. after a while, i became bored with this (never do that!) the numbers sounded terribly long. i should have kept up enthusiasm. anyway- the give and take (and perfect responses) are sometimes learned (if you know what i mean). and, when you have a regular partner to learn them with - you have a constant factor for experimentation purposes. (don't tell my husband) even if your husband/wife is having a bad day, looks terrible when sick or not feeling well, etc. these are opportunities to learn to love further than being in love. then, when the elephant days (mourning) come - you can look back and say you made a difference in someone's life (for better or worse) and at least made them laugh a lot. enthusiasm is definately one factor that keeps things alive.

That's a curious expression - "elephant days". I hadn't heard that one before and it isn't in my dictionary. What is its derivation ? I'm familiar with ratty mornings though.

Marriage is like a stradivarius.
Beautiful music with strings attached.
or
Marriage is like a game of chess.
You start off with an early knight and end up with a stale mate.
Question
What has a woman and a hurricane got in common??
