Bifocal contact lenses
on: June 02, 2005, 08:44:49 PM
Does anyone have experience of wearing bifocal contact lenses? Do your eyes quickly adapt from the near to far vision with them? I'm just wondering if they'd present any problem while driving for example. Are they worth the extra expense?
I've worn hard (gas permeable) lenses for years with no problems, to correct my horrendous short sight, but am getting to the age when one needs extending arms for small print
At present using cheapo off- the -shelf reading glasses is sufficient but of course you can never find them when you need them. Don't yet have a problem reading music on the piano but want to be prepared ....
