I've read in several posts about graded piano exams in the UK and Canada. Is there anything equivalent in the US? Just curious.

There is a new one, RACE (I think it stands for Royal American Conservatory Examinations), based on Canada's RCM. I think their website is race.com, but don't guarantee it!

Well, what do you think is more useful for a piano teacher that needs some type of professional recognition? Getting the ARCT (wether fron Canada or the US) or getting the MTNA certification?
And which one is more difficult to get?
