I don't think i could ever be gay.

Not sure i could stomach having men telling me to get stuffed as well as women.

Why exactly do you want to to know this about everyone? Will it in some way affect your opinion of a person if you find out that they're gay, or conversely a person you thought was gay turns out to be straight? I'm straight by the way.

Does such a thing as complete asexuality exist ? How would you distinguish asexuality from just a relatively low libido ?

Um, my sexual orientation, eh?  :o

Oh I live happily with our 2-and-a-half years old black and white male Siberian Husky doggie and his co-owner. In fact it was his co-owner who bought him. It was really I who should've been the co-owner, but now I've grown to love the husky even more . . .  ;D

Interesting, the poll results as of now seem to indicate that Piano Forum is a microcosm of human society in general in regards to sexual orientation.

I guess it proves that pianists are just as varied as everyone else!

actually, I heard it was a myth that 10% of society is gay.  If my sources are correct, I believe it was more like 2%...

The National Survey of Sexual Attitudes and Lifestyles which was given twice in Britian, surveyed 30,000 individuals in 1990 and 2000 and came up with the following results:

11.7% of women have felt sexual attraction to women
8.1% of men have felt sexual attraction to men

Now this doesn't mean that these people are exclusively attracted to thier own gender, but it suggests that about 10% of the population has or does feel sexual attraction towards the same gender, and is comfortable enough with that to say so on a survey.  Given the historical stigma associated with same-sex attraction, it is likely that these numbers are slightly higher (which explains in part why the survey in 1990 reported lower figures than the 2000 survey.)

Not sure if Vladimir was of Jewish descendant, but rumours has it that - although he married Wanda - at least he belonged to both his other two categories of pianists . . .  ;D

Hey by the way, what happened to my screen name?
