you know, i think a person learns more about another by what they say.  forgetting that for a second, i wouldn't mind seeing a pic of all of the above in their natural surroundings (at the piano).  if only i was able to know how to set up and get a pic onto the internet.  guess that if i get a pic at the piano on disc this fall - then i could pay to get it transferred.  then, when i apply for performing jobs will also have a pic.  several people i know put their pic on their business cards (mostly singers) so why not pianists?

torp, don't feel badly.  i was SURE i saw you yesterday (at least the image in my mind).  you were riding your motorcycle on the 422, wind blowing your red bandana back over medium cut dark brown hair, white or blue t  -shirt without arms, big bulging muscles, a few tatoos (not too many), and lean and mean.  being that i've learned to look discretely i didn't actually turn around while driving past, but i said to myself, "so that's what torp looks like."  not bad.  slaps self.  thinks his hands kind of big to play the piano, though.   

of course, as tash said, when you get too much of a mental image, then you have to adjust your thinking.  being that you're an outdoors person...everyone takes it forgranted you're good looking and doesn't want the addition competition.

actually, am glad for you that you DIDN't stay in the rock band and that you don't have tatoos or piercings.  to me, people are attractive if they can think for themselves and not blindly follow everyone else.  i don't think i've ever met an accountant, though, that rides a motorcycle (even with a helmet) and just goes out on the weekend without a destination.  if you don't rely on pianoforums to meet girls, you're probably most likely to find them on one of your rides.  just make sure and tell them that just because you're an accountant doesn't mean you don't like to spend money.
