Hey all

Just ordering some books from Amazon (Fink, Sandor, Gieseking, and Richman),
and stumbled across the above book (thread title), which was a joint project.  Here's more info:

https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0893281549/qid=1118275457/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl14/002-5010903-6278401?v=glance&s=books&n=507846

Could anyone tell me if it's a worthwhile purchase?  This is for a beginner level adult, who is 'teacherless' at the moment, whilst trying to find a good one.

Also, I'm thinking of buying "Freeing the Caged Bird" video, by Barbara Lister-Sink, any thoughts?

Hoping you can help

Oops..

Meant to ask - which video would be best - Sinks, of Finks?  :D

I noted that Finks video was highly recommended, but it's not available via amazon.  In the meantime, I discovered Lister-Sinks 160min video here: https://www.freeingthecagedbird.com/

Which would be best, has anyone viewed the two?  Are they much the muchness, or both worth having?

Thanks

I have both videos, and I felt I got more out of Sink's than Fink's.  But I'd recommend getting them both, as well as Sandor's book.

I haven't seen the symposium book before.  The TOC looks good, though.  Hopefully I can find it in a store to page thru to see if there is enough new material.

Hey, Redhead

I'll go ahead and order the two vids.

I won't order the Symposium book as yet.. i've got it in my 'wish list'.  I'll check back here every now and again, to see if there's been any advice added.

Thanks for the feedback
