advertising myself
on: June 14, 2005, 03:03:18 AM
ok i'm gonna go start teaching beginners and possibly some theory/school music tutoring when term 3 starts over here, so i thought i'd go put up some 'advertisements' of myself in the local shops near me. but i'm not fully sure of what i should put on it- so far i've put my general location, years of piano playing experience, previous exam results, do i need to put cost? and would you say about $AU20 for 1/2 hr would be suitable for someone who's never taught before? (i pay $60/hr my for lessons)
is there anything else i need, or something i should take out? thanks!

Definitely look into advertising online with your own site. Read up on search engines and make sure that you create the page for the search engines. You'll be amazed at how well a good site can do.
Works wonders for me, and I get requests for more information from my site many times every day.
Hope this helps,
