Yann Tierson live

(For those of you who don't know who he is- he composed the soundtrack to the french film Amelie)
I just saw him perform and it was pretty spectacular. In general his piano stuff is a bit cheesy but he plays well as well as the accordion and the violin. His music is quite creative and musical, not just loud amplification with heavy guitar solos.
I have been listening to his music for several years and seeing him live was better than I expected.
Of course after going to a "rock" style concert after going to so many classical performances was an experience in itself!
any thoughts on this guy?
