Hey people...
This is my first post here.
First of all, i'm brazilian and i'm 16, so forgive my spelling mistakes, ok?
Well... this is it:
I've studied piano since Oct. 1995, and this year i'm going to graduate. However, there's a problem: my teacher is very helpful and all (she's in vacations ATM), but she told me to study the "Etudes" (Chopin, Hanon, Heller, etc etc), and well.. I don't know which to study first..
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm studying Hungarian Rhapsody #2 ATM (i've managed to play the Lassan and half of the Friska (slowly, veryyyyyyyyyyyyyy slowwwwwwww)), Ernesto Nazareth's brazilian tango (Odeon), Asturias (I. Albanez) and Organ Prelude in G minor (Bach - arranged for Piano by A. Siloti). And my Chopin's Militar Polonaise is READY TO ROCK BABY! (j/k.. it's perfect, I'd say... :p)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's kinda confusing, but this is it:
1- I can play the "Do-Mi-Sol" thingy (i don't know how it is called.. in portuguese it is 'Acorde') very well, this i think it's a good point!

2- I can't rush my fingers through the piano as fast as hell! IT'S WAY TOO DIFFICULT! I screw everything up!

3- I need to know which Etudes should i study, and how often... And how long does it take to see the results..
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please help me, I'd be grateful!

Thank you very much.
