Gosh I forgot all about the piano forum and then found it moved!! I started a discussion forum myself for string players and teachers on runboard. It's new... and I am the only member right now.
I'm a string/piano teacher, symphonist, and quartet member, just so you know I'm legit. If you teach strings or have any string friends who are looking for a similar place/forum to discuss ideas regarding all thing string, pass on my link if you like. Inversely, if there is already a well-populated string teachers forum out there please post it! I've been looking and just can't find one. ASTA used to have a listserve but that seems to have disappeared much to my chagrin. As much as I love my local community and the string teachers living here, I really crave the company of a more diversified online community of string teachers and players at a discussion board, whether my own or elsewhere. Thanks!
